Counseling

The West Platte School District Counseling Center strives to help students overcome barriers and assist them in growth for the future. We want to encourage our students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve academic success. Our counseling center wants to create positive relationships with students encouraging personal growth, assistance to others, and promote healthy relationships.

Our school counselor recognizes the importance of equipping our students with the tools they need to be successful in high school and beyond. We offer our students support for personal and social issues, study skills, career counseling, ACT prep opportunities, course scheduling, scholarship opportunities and many other helpful tools necessary for them to obtain personal and academic goals.

The West Platte High School counselor is committed to partnering with students, parents, staff and families to empower all students to reach their highest potential resulting in high school graduation and preparation for post-high school opportunities.
