On Monday, March 11th, nine FFA students competed in the 21st Annual Lathrop Judging Day CDE's. Katie Groom, Sage Lewis, Hailey Shepardson, and Mikaela Wendorf made up the Dairy Foods team. They placed 8th out of 45 teams which is quite the accomplishment for four freshman who had never competed in a CDE competition before.
The Meats team that consisted of Mallory Chambers, Wyatt Kleman, Taylor McNair, Ashlynne Sanchez, and Ally Santo finished 13th out 35 teams. Both teams, as well as the Soils team, will compete again, on Monday, in Savannah, Missouri.
