The Blue Jays fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 5-0 loss to East Buchanan on Thursday. East Buchanan took the lead on a groundout in the first inning.

A single by Hendricks in the first inning was a positive for the Jays.

Kleman took the loss for the Jays. He lasted five innings, allowing four hits and five runs three of them earned while striking out five.

Heili, Basel, Hendricks, and Pattison each collected one hit to lead the Jays.
