The Blue Jays fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-2 loss to Lawson on Tuesday.

The Jays struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Lawson, giving up eight runs. Lawson got things moving in the first inning scoring one run and scored four runs in the seventh inning.

Kleman took the loss for the Blue Jays. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out eight. Holmes went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead the Blue Jays in hits.
