Dear parents/guardians of seniors:
Isn’t it hard to believe that senior year is already here? One great way to tell your senior how proud you are of him/her is to purchase ad space in the yearbook. It’s really simple, and it’s something to be cherished for years to come.
Step one—Decide on the size of the ad you would like to purchase. A whole page costs $150, a half costs $80, and a quarter of a page costs $45. Take into consideration the number of pictures and length of the message you would like to include.
Step two—Gather the photos you want to be placed in the ad. This year the ads will be in full-color, so be sure to include high-quality color images. If purchasing a quarter-page, it’s best to include one or two photos, and you can include more as ad size increases.
Step three—Write your message. Please double-check the message before sending it in. We will run the message exactly as you send it. Also, include the names of all family and friends who are sending the message.
Step four—Submit your ad. This can be done in one of three ways: Photographs and your message can be placed in an envelope and sent to the high school office. You can also submit a CD of your photos, or you can e-mail them to me at the address below.
Please include a self-addressed envelope large enough to contain your photos if you wish to have them returned to you.
Your ad space will be reserved once it is paid for, and space will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. This year we are offering a 10% discount to those who reserve their space before October 30. You can reserve your space and submit your ad and copy at a later date, but no later than March 1, 2019. Space is limited, so don’t wait. You may pay with cash or check, and checks should be made payable to West Platte High School.
