FBLA used spirit dress up days the week of Career Fair to get the teachers and students excited for the main event. Monday - Careers that never sleep (PJ Day); Tuesday - Dress professional; Wednesday - Medical Day (Wear Scrubs or Bandages); Thursday - Highlight Your Future (Wear Neon Colors); Friday - Dress for Your Dream Job.
West Platte FBLA hosted the annual Career Fair and Adulting 101 on October 17 for the middle school and high school students. Grades 7 through 10 attended the Career Fair where they listened to a variety of presenters. Overall, there were 15 speakers that were separated into 6 rooms for the students to choose from. The students had the chance to sign up for two one-hour sessions. Each presenter had something different to say, ranging from joining the United States Air Force to making your own unique clothing line.
