Posted on 01/14/2019
Students in classroomOver the past few days, middle school students in Mr. Kurtz’ Agriculture Education classes have been discussing local agriculture and agriculture businesses. Today, Erik Olson owner of the Weston Historic Orchard and Vinyard talked to 7th and 8th grade students. Mr. Olson discussed how he got into the orchard business, why he chose Weston for the location of his business, challenges he faced, and how all local agriculture businesses work together to promote our community.

Thank you, Mr. Olson, for taking time out of your day to talk about your business!
