Yesterday, juniors and seniors from West Platte and North Platte high schools participated in the Arrive Alive event at West Platte. Students participated in a presentation from Think First, a program that promotes safe driving practices and shares a personal story of an accident survivor. Then, students went to the elementary school parking lot and visited exhibits and activities from a variety of organizations and law enforcement agencies.
School Resource Officer Michael Macey and our 4 student planners, Lea Moose, Taylor McNair, Mikaela Truxal, and Tori Norman were instrumental in the planning and implementation of the Arrive Alive event at West Platte.
