High School Softball Camp Held
High School Softball Camp Held
Posted on 07/17/2019
The high school softball program held a camp for the junior high and high school teams from July 8-12. They were some long, hot evenings, but the girls worked hard and had fun. The camp focused on fundamentals, situational drills, team dynamics, and learning routines that will prepare them for the fall season.
The high school team ended the week with a Team Camp put on by FCA-KC North. They played two situational scrimmages with North Platte and participated in individual competitions. They also had the privilege of listening to and working with Taylor Gadbois, former Mizzou Tiger, and professional softball player. Taylor shared about her softball career and gave the girls advice about how to work hard and handle a game of failures. She also put on a clinic for both teams. It was a great week of growth for both the junior high and high school teams. Look out for them this fall!
