The Blue Jays managed through a push by North Platte in the fifth inning where the Jays coughed up three runs, but still won 9-5 on Tuesday.

The Jays fired up the offense in the second inning, when an error scored one run.

The Blue Jays put up six runs in the fifth inning. The rally was led by singles by Davis and Basel, hit by pitch from Eagen and Pattison, and a walk by Heili.

Kleman got the win for the Jays. He lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out nine. Stringer threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Jays saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game. Stringer, Heili, and Davis each had multiple hits. Stringer led the Blue Jays with three hits in four at bats.
