Science Club bannerOn Saturday, February 23, a group of 15 Science Club members took a trip to Kansas City, Missouri to visit several locations. Mr. Lynch and Mr. Lowe were the sponsors and Larry Clemens drove the bus.

1st the group visited and toured the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum. Then the 2nd group ate lunch at Crown Center and the 3rd group toured the WWI Museum.

At the WWI museum, previous West Platte teacher and coach, Charles Yaw, was the group's tour guide and group leader. He did a great job bringing the museum to life and educating the group on many facets of WWI. Despite it being a rainy and foggy day, the group had a enjoyable and educational day.
