Wrestling update from Coach Thomas:
On Thursday, Thomas Tharp lost 1st round match to Monroe Mills from Father Tolton, by a pin. Thomas won 1st round wrestle back over Jacob Bader from Bishop Deborg, by a pin.
On Friday, Thomas won 2nd round wrestle back over Colby Stephens from Warsaw, by a pin. Thomas lost the 3rd round wrestle back to Grant Dunman from Seneca, by a pin. (If he would have won this match he would have been going for a chance at a medal.)
Thomas finished 2-2 at the state meet. He did a great job representing West Platte High School at the State Wrestling tournament. The coaches are extremely proud of him! WAY TO GO, THOMAS!
