Blue Jays Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning

The Blue Jays nabbed the lead late in the game in an 11-8 victory over Lawson on Thursday. The game was tied at eight with the Blue Jays batting in the top of the sixth when Dublin Carnahan doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Lawson scored five runs in the fifth inning, but Blue Jays still managed to pull out the victory.

The Blue Jays opened up scoring in the first inning, when Kleman singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Lawson evened things up at eight in the bottom of the fifth inning.

The Blue Jays put up three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by the Blue Jays was led by Johnson, Carnahan, and Hendricks, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Kleman recorded the last six outs to earn the win for Blue Jays.

Stringer started the game for the Blue Jays. He surrendered three runs on two hits over four innings, striking out five.

The Blue Jays tallied ten hits. Hendricks, Carnahan, and Nathan Plummer each managed multiple hits for the Jays.
